A behind-the-scenes look at where our retractable awnings are sewn, welded and finished — by hand, in Barking.
Premier Awnings retractable awnings are manufactured in the United Kingdom at our own workshop at Unit 5 Pacific Wharf, Hertford Road, Barking, London IG11 8BL, where we have traded since 1995. Awning fabrics — including Sunbrella and Tempotest — are cut, sewn and welded in-house on Durkopp Adler industrial sewing lines and stainless steel welding tables, then paired with Somfy motors and fitted by our own installation team across London and the Home Counties. No part of the fabrication is outsourced or imported ready-made.
